Back to School: Noteworthy Notes

“Don’t ever stop showing how much you care.”

This is my last week in the Back to School series, I hope you enjoyed! This one is one of my favorites and the easiest. What type of note will you put into your next packed lunch: a riddle, a joke, or a origami shape? My husband is getting a riddle tomorrow!

Back to School: Brown Bag Buddies

“Wish upon a shooting star, listen to your dreams,
and make your imagination run wild.”

The lunch fun continues and this week it is pretty simple (the opposite of last week). All you have to do is download, print, cut, and glue. These woodland characters were so much fun to create, and I hope you have just has much fun using them!

Back to School: Story-Inspired Lunches

“Logic will get you from A to Z:
Imagination will get you everywhere.”

After people ask me what I do for a living, they are usually so fascinated when I say I am a graphic designer. I get a lot of “Wow, that must be fun!” and I can say they are right to an extent. My job is fun, but it is still work and I do spend 9 hours a day there so it is not the great time that people think it is. The next few weeks I am going to show you some of the really fun aspects of what I do at work. Behind-the-scenes there is a lot of running around, crossing fingers that ideas work, and juggling all my other responsibilities. Okay, I know you don’t believe me that it is hard work, but see for yourself!

Back to School: 7 Steps to the Perfect Lunch

“You don’t have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces,
just good food from fresh ingredients.”

Working in the editorial world means that my calendar is always a few months ahead which means I have been thinking about back to school season for months now. I know it is crazy since we are still in the middle of summer, but I figure it might be fun to show you what I’ve been doing so that you are ready when the new school year begins. It will be here sooner then you think! These can be used for adults too! Since I don’t have kids, my husband will be getting some fun lunches!
